DIY: Sweater dress

DIY: Sweater dress
Hey everyone! It's lyss! Sorry I haven't been on... I've been studying for end-of-course exams for my online classes...it's annoying! but anyway....

1. Go thru your closet (or your boyfriend’s, brother’s, etc) and find a boxy light-weight sweater that hits just above your knee or find a boxy sweater dress in the sale aisle of your fave store. A shorter sweater is OK too—you’ll just pair a skirt with it instead of wearing solo when it’s all finished.

2. Put the sweater on with the kind of shoes you think you’ll wear with it (heels versus flats might affect the kind of shape you want.)

3. Using a full-length mirror, experiment with pinching together a left and right section of the sweater (either just above the waist or empire-waist level) to the center to figure out the exact right place to position the snap. (Hint: It should have a few folds of fabric in the front, be tight enough to show off your shape, but not so tight that the back of the fabric strains when you sit down.)

4. Mark the best place for both sides of the snap with small safety pins.

5. Track down a big snap set—a large, 1/2-inch to 1-inch circumference will work best—at your local sewing or craft store, along with a sturdy thread that matches the color of your sweater. Make sure the snap clicks together sturdily—you’ll need a strong one to stay snapped shut when you walk, sit, do jumping-jacks, etc.

6. Sew on one side of the snap where you’ve placed the small safety pin. You’ll want to do 3-4 “layers” of thread to secure the snap. Before you repeat this on the other side, check again in the mirror to see that you’ve got both snaps in the right place—a lop-sided placement might make your silhouette look a little funky, and you want to avoid re-sewing stuff.

Well...that's how you do it... :)

O2; Microwave that for about 1 min. Please stir and add vanilla.

O3; Take a bowl, preferably a large bowl therefore your able to fit all the rice chex in.

O4; Take a large ziplock bag and pour in your powdered sugar.

O5; Add you mixture of peanut butter, chocolate, and butter into the bag as well.

O6; Then, pour in the Rice Chex cerel into the bag.

O8; Start shaking the bag, allow every piece of cereal to be coated with the powder sugar mixture.

O1. Waking Up! *literally the hardest thing EVER*
once you get out of bed, you know your awake.

O2. Take a shower *optional,but recommended*

O3. Get dressed *find your clothes the night before*

O4. Brush your teeth , Wash your face , Brush your hair (:

O5. Do what you need to do with you hair girl. Whether its a natural look, curly, or straight, DO IT.

O6. Makeup time!
- I like to go for a natural look, little eyeliner is okay, and I like to add some mascara.
- Put on that concealer if you weren't able to get rid of those blemishes.

O7. Go get your backpack ready!
*if you didn't get it the night before, start soon!

O8. Breakfast time! Important meal of the day, eat up! * if you can't wait this long for breakfast, go ahead and feel free to eat earlier*

O9. Grab those cute shoes, put them on!

1O. Head out the door, good luck with your first day of school!

Hope this helped , if you have sometime else you'd rather do in replacement of a step above, feel free to do so. This is usually my morning routine.

Thanks

Getting Curly Hair in 3 different ways
Want Curly Hair? Keep reading!

1- Simply braid your hair after taking a shower, go to sleep and wake up.
Then, undo the braids and your hair will be a curly wavy look!

2- With a curling iron, curl your hair like you would do regularly..
TIP- take small strands of hair to prevent smaller thinner curls if you have very thick hair.

3- Again take your curling iron, this time (still taking small strands) wrap your hair around the barrel and hold it there, be careful not to burn yourself!
Release the hair that was wrapped around and you got yourself a curly do!

Hope this helped!
Thanks!
- Forever, Lisa
